Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts

Even small changes can make a big difference.

Our approach

Taking responsibility

We take climate protection and sustainability very seriously. That is why we are planning how we can heat CO₂-free in the future and how we can one day work 100% CO₂-free instead of offsetting. We try to raise the topic wherever possible with every flight booking and build awareness as best we can.

Clean energy

The AERTiCKET House in Berlin produces its own electricity with a photovoltaic system on the roof.

CO₂-free goal

Our aim is to heat CO₂-free and, step by step, to work completely CO₂-free instead of relying on offsetting.

Transparent reporting

Every year, the group publishes a voluntary sustainability report that reviews what we have achieved and where we can do better.

Tips for greener flight bookings

Travel agents can make a real difference when advising travellers. A few simple choices lower the footprint of a trip:

  • Choose direct flights where possible – take-off and landing use the most fuel, so fewer stops mean fewer emissions.
  • Travel light. Less baggage means less weight on board; light fares without checked bags help.
  • Prefer economy class. More passengers share the emissions of each flight.
  • Consider the train for short trips within Scandinavia and to continental Europe.
  • Stay longer, travel less often. One longer trip has a smaller footprint than several short ones.
